First Aid at Work Requalification
(Click here to return to our full Course list)
This 2-day course allows an existing 3-day First Aid at Work First Aider to requalify over a period of two days, rather than three. It must be completed no less than 1 calendar month after expiry of the existing certificate.
The First Aid at Work qualification (FAW) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained First Aider for their workplace. The course lasts three years, after which the First Aider must requalify. To requalify, the First Aider has two options:
- Retake the 3-day First Aid at work course
- Take a condensed 2-day requalification version of the course. The same syllabus is covered, however because the student already has a qualification, the syllabus can be compacted into just two days.
To take the 2-day Requalification course, the original First Aid qualification must still be valid or have expired less than 1 calendar month of completing the course. If the certificate is more than 1 calendar month past expiry then the full 3-day course must be taken. Certificates will be checked at the start of the course.
The pricing assumes that the course is run on consecutive days. There may be additional costs if the days are not consecutive. The course must be completed within 10 weeks start to finish, however the order of the two units is not fixed.

It is the same course, but spread over two days, not three as there is less teaching and more practice on the assumption that the learner has the basic skills and just needs to redresh.
